It was 1965
when Howard William Pryce bought a Commer van and set off with his
brother Bert on the deliveries with their new bread and cake round.
Things were going well, Howard decided it was time to expand and got
his wife Sheila to start pre packing potatoes in the garden shed.
The potato trade took off so out went the Commer van in came the big
stuff, a Bedford TK and a Dodge 10 tonner.
Before long a small haulage company had
started.
From just a few trucks, a few happy customers and a lot of hard work
the company has managed to survive the recessions
and grow to a modern fleet and peaked with 18 trucks and 25 trailers.
In May 2019 we stopped operating trucks
